ESTAD Double Tapered Joint Nails and Flared Clamping Nails, (known in the woodworking industry as clamp nails, coffin nails, spline nails and door frame nails are specifically designed for forming wood joints in furniture, cabinets, general construction, caskets, door frames and windows. The nails join two pieces of kerf-sawed wood together in a tight and accurate wood joint application that is simple and secure with a durable and lasting fit.
Available in 1/2", 9/16", 5/8" & 11/16" and lengths ranging from 1/2" up to 4" Double Taper Joint Nail & 4" in the Flared Nail. Generally the Double Tapered Joint Nails are better for hard woods, while the Flared Clamping Nails are better suited for softer wood types.
